Shire Energy Assessments have been producing Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) in Shropshire and the surrounding areas since they came into being in 2007 and to date, we have made in excess of 6000 lodgements. We have a wealth of experience in assessing all types of property from a small town centre flat to a large country residence, or even an office block. We can produce an EPC for any shape or size of property.

We also produce on-construction EPCs, whether at the design stage or as built, we are able to deal with single or multiple new build properties.

We offer a fast and efficient service, normally producing your EPC within 48 hours of your instruction and often the same day. Prices for a domestic EPC start from £50, commercial from £175 and we don’t charge VAT. Prices for newly built properties vary depending on the amount and complexity of dwellings, but please contact us for a quote.

You are required to have an EPC produced if you are building, selling or renting a property out. You may also need an EPC if you are applying for a grant for the installation of a renewable heat source, such as a solar thermal panel, a heat pump or a biomass boiler. The EPC contains information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs, as well as recommendations about how to make the property more energy efficient to save money.
